DIPLOMA IN MECHANICAL ENGINEERING

Mechanical Engineer is the branch of engineering that involves the production and usage of heat and mechanical power for the design, production and operation of machine and tools. It is one of the oldest and broadest engineering disciplines like other career paths, entry into this particular branch of engineering also requires certain basic skills. Students must have skills such as analytical bent of mind, logical reasoning and problem solving. The scope of mechanical engineering is vast. Mechanical engineers are required in all manufacturing facilities. There is tremendous scope for a Diploma mechanical holders in Cement industry, Power sectors , Hydraulics , manufacturing plants and petroleum . With a diploma in mechanical engineering , one can find job in various government and private sectors like Indian Railways, DRDO, ISRO, BHEL, NTPC etc.

THERMAL ENGINEERING LAB: In this laboratory, students will have the opportunity to study the working principle of IC engines (both SI and CI engines), performance and characteristics in terms of heat balancing, economical speed variations, air fuel ratio influence on the engine to reinforce classroom theory by having the student perform required tests, analyze subsequent data, and present the results in a professionally prepared report. The machines and equipment used to determine experimental data include cut models of 4stroke diesel engine, 2stroke petrol engine, 4stroke and two stroke petrol engines with required specifications, Multi cylinder SI engine, Single cylinder Diesel engine for performance and speed test which is suitable to tests on variable compression ratios:

HYDRAULICS AND FLUID MACHINERY LAB: The objective of this lab is to make the students understand Practical applications of venture meter, calculate input power, output power and Efficiency of reciprocating pumps, determination of loss of head in given pipe and calculate the friction factor.

Our Events

Event 1

Our students took active partnership in the integration programme conducted by SETNEL in Srikakulam District and got various prizes.   Every year Sports and cultural Programmes are organized in the institution on the occasion of Indipendance Day and Republic Day.   Our students actively participated in the social awareness programmes like swacha bharath, ODF and Digital PaymentsĂ‚ in the surrounding villages .
